A heart-wrenching story of a female dog, mother of three puppies, who was left paralyzed from the waist down after being brutally attacked by a man, has come to light. The incident occurred when the poor dog chased away a man’s child who had come to play with her puppies. In a fit of rage, the man attacked her with an iron bar, leaving her helpless and immobile.
The incident left the female dog lying outside for several hours, unable to move, and with her three babies by her side. Fortunately, a rescue team rushed to the spot as soon as they found out about the incident and took her to a vet for treatment. Despite the pain and trauma, the mother showed no signs of aggression and remained calm throughout the ordeal.
The rescue team named the female dog Amal, and after undergoing x-rays, it was discovered that her L2-L3 vertebrae were affected. However, the vet immediately started treatment with spinal infiltrations, which he believes will help her walk again. If that doesn’t work, surgery is still an option. Amal has a long and challenging journey ahead of her, but the team is hopeful that she will make a full recovery.
To protect the puppies, the team had to separate them from Amal. She’s taking antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, and her urine has a little blood in it, so she will take Tarosin for ten days. Until Amal can breastfeed again, the puppies are being fed with Royal Canin Starter. Despite the obstacles, Amal is always in good spirits and loves being in the center of attention.
It is devastating to see such cruel acts of violence against animals, especially those that are innocent and defenseless. However, the rescue team’s quick actions and dedication to Amal’s recovery provide a glimmer of hope for her and her puppies. Amal’s gentle nature and resilience in the face of such cruelty are truly admirable, and we can only hope that justice is served to the man who caused her such harm.
